Yeah Yeah Yeah’s To Replace Beasties

Yeah Yeah Yeah’s are the new headliner for Day 2 of Montreal’s Osheaga Music and Arts Festival.  The Beastie Boys were scheduled to play, but had to cancel upon learning that member Adam Yauch (MCA) was diagnosed with salivary gland cancer. Vampire Weekend’s Upcoming Album

Vampire Weekend have been in the studio recording new tracks for their second album, which is set for a September release. They’re currently doing some fine tuning and have noted that this upcoming album is a chance to challenge themselves to reinvent their old sound.
