Neon Indian set to release New Album, announces Fall dates

Psychic Chasms, the debut full-length from Neon Indian, will be released as a newly mastered deluxe edition on CD and double Vinyl on September 28, 2010 and digitally on August 31 via FADER Label / Static Tongues. The new version of the album, which is augmented by Mind Ctrl: Psychic Chasms Possessed, contains nine bonus tracks consisting of exclusive remixes and cover versions by Toro Y Moi, DNTEL, Bibio, Javelin, YACHT and more. The band will also tour this Fall with Prefuse 73 and Miniature Tigers, in addition to their previously announced headlining dates, and shows with Chromeo and Phoenix.

In June, FADER Label welcomed Neon Indian to their roster and announced plans for the re-release of their critically acclaimed debut Psychic Chasms in a unique partnership with Static Tongues, the label started by Neon Indian’s Alan Palomo. Prior to this announcement, the Brooklyn by-way-of Austin four piece ended a series of dates that included sets at Sasquatch, Pitchfork Fest and Bonnaroo, and a string of performances with Massive Attack.

Psychic Chasms was first released on indie-label Lefse Records last October and has since been embraced by numerous critics including those at SPIN, New York Times, Rolling Stone, Wall Street Journal and Pitchfork, among others. In February 2010, Neon Indian made their late night TV debut with a performance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and most recently, released the single “Sleep Paralysist” on Green Label Sound. The track, produced by Palomo in collaboration with Chris Taylor of Grizzly Bear, is the first original new music from Neon Indian since the debut album last Fall.

Rise Records and Bleeding Through are pleased to announce “The Spring Breakdown Tour: 2010″. Bleeding Through is one of the most important bands to take the mixture of metal and hardcore to international prominence in the last decade, touring with Slayer, Marilyn Manson, Bullet For My Valentine, AFI, HIM, Cradle Of Filth, Ozzfest, Vans Warped Tour and MTV2’s Headbanger’s Ball: The Tour.

Currently on a European tour supporting Machine Head, Bleeding Through commence the new decade with a US headlining tour in support of their upcoming release which is in stores April 13th. Their ominously self-titled new album, their first for Rise Records, is the perfect distillation of their past with a solid look forward to the future: dark, aggressive, full of rage and sorrow. Crime In Stereo Announce New Tour Dates, LP Release Date

In anticipation of the February 2010 CD/LP/Digital release of I Was Trying To Describe You To Someone, Crime In Stereo is pleased to announce a string of headline shows in Philadelphia, New York City and Boston during their album release week. ”This is by far our biggest accomplishment as a band,” says the band’s guitarist, Alex Dunne, of their new material. “It’s not just our best record; it’s leaps and bounds beyond everything we’ve done previously. Rise Records Signs Sleeping With Sirens

Rise Records is thrilled to announce the signing of Florida’s SLEEPING WITH SIRENS. The band just completed their full length album with producer Cameron Mizell which will be released in March.

Calgary’s indie sisters Tegan and Sara have added four more Canadian tour dates onto their already massive schedule of shows, set to kick off in L.A on October 25th:
