Creed’s Scott Stapp Saved by Rapper T.I After Suicide Attempt

It’s just one of those stories that you can read a hundred times and STILL won’t make sense.

While promoting his new memoir on VH1’s “Big Morning Buzz Live”, Creed frontman Scott Stapp described 4 consecutive days of drug binging he spent at the Delano Hotel in Miami before throwing himself off the 40 foot balcony and onto another room’s balcony below. Stapp reportedly laid there for hours until Atlanta born rapper T.I. arrived in the hotel room beneath where Stapp had been laying. Stapp called out to the rapper, who then called an ambulance and stayed with Stapp until medics arrived and treated him for a fractured skull, broken hip and a broken nose.

“I laid out there for two and a half hours and my guardian angel showed up — rapper T.I.,” Stapp said. “He immediately took care of the situation and saved my life.”
