Grizzly Bear revealed their new single, “Yet Again”, on BBC Radio 1 today, with the track being featured in the station’s Hottest Record segment. The band will also perform the song, which comes from their new album Shields (9/18, Warp/Fontana North), on the Colbert Report this month as part of the StePhest Colbchella RocktAugustfest, which tapes August 10th aboard the U.S.S. Intrepid, and will air the following week.
Recorded over the better part of a year, Shields represents the band’s most charged and concise collection of music to date and follows 2009′s critical and commercial breakthrough, Veckatimest. They’ll kick off an international tour September 16, including their biggest hometown show to date September 24 at Radio City Music Hall in NYC. Click here for more info.
