News

Richmond, VA’s Strike Anywhere will be hitting up spots in the South and East Coast this October and November.  Starting October 25th in Washington, DC, the band will be playing a string of dates with the Flatliners, A Wilhelm Scream, No Friends and others, including stops at Gainesville’s The Fest 9 and Austin’s Fun Fun Fun Fest.  Strike Anywhere’s Thomas Barnett said, “The final run of our Iron Front year – these special shows with rare set lists, digging back to the roots – our hometown punk scenes and origin cities in the South East.  This tour is close to our hearts and we will definitely have a few surprises along the way.”
Currently on tour in Europe, Strike Anywhere has been pounding the pavement hard since their 2009 Bridge Nine release Iron Front, sharing the stage with bands like Propagandhi, Bane, Polar Bear Club and Four Year Strong.  Called “…the strongest record in the quintet’s career” by the Washington Post-Express, Iron Front delivered the driving political punk this Richmond staple has been known and loved for over the past decade.  Strike Anywhere is “a band that can turn a room full of strangers into a family” (Ink19) with a live show you won’t want to miss!  Check out the tour dates below and go see Strike Anywhere in a city near you.
