Since we had just seen their show in Toronto the night before, we had to drive from Toronto to Montreal that morning. Long story short, we underestimated how long the drive would be and the traffic coming into Montreal and ended up missing the first two opening acts (Sing it Loud and Hit the Lights). Having had just become a fan of both bands the night before, I was slightly bummed but I’m sure I will get a chance to see them again soon.

I was ecstatic that I was able to see Forever the Sickest Kids again! Something tells me this band is going to be huge soon! They have incredible stage presence, songs that are not only relateable but catchy and true passion that you can see from the moment they step onto the stage. The first time I had seen them was at Warped Tour this past summer and, since then, I’ve known that there is something special about these guys. Their set was great and I’m hoping to see them in a headlining tour soon!

So next, of course, it was time for us to get our fangs up for Cobra Starship! I like to describe Cobra Starship as a band that anyone can enjoy, no matter what your taste in music. You cannot possibly go to one of their shows and not have a good time! They encourage everyone to not take themselves too seriously, dance, laugh, sing and just have an amazing time! Knowing now that Gabe has been having vocal problems, I have to say that he was great about not letting it impact the show. They did an extra segment in the show, taking us to “Pleasure Ryland” that they did not do in Toronto. They dressed up and everything and said that they just felt like doing something special for their Montreal fans.

The energy of the crowd is always incredible in Montreal and you can tell the bands really feed off of it. Its’s hard to explain, but everything just gets taken to another level whenever I see bands play there.

Another amazing show. I realized that night that it was the 9th time I saw Cobra Starship live and I’m already looking forward to number 10!
