The Status’ debut album So This Is Progress… was released this past Tuesday through Doghouse Records. With 12 refreshing tracks, this record will amaze you. With special guest vocals done by Adam Lazzara (Taking Back Sunday) and Anthony Raneri (Bayside), these songs will hit the spot. The upbeat opening with the song “Get Back On Your Feet” welcomes you into the unique sound this band possesses. The different songs blend beautifully and the subject matter varies from song to song. I believe this is the first of many great albums from this band. Along with this release, The Status is touring nationwide with Bayside, The Matches, and Valencia.
