Family Force 5 – Dance or Die Review
I just finished listening to another smash album from Family Force 5 and I must say that every time that I listen to them I am simply blown away. The album; entitled: Dance or Die still has me moving. For those who aren’t familiar with the band I suggest that you become familiar with them. For fans of bloc party, metro station and other electro-pop bands this one by far blows them out of the water. I have both of their albums, which might I add was ridiculously hard to get shipped to Canada so I ended up going to New York to get their first album while their second album I had it shipped from http://www.smartpunk.com and could not be any happier. The album has eleven tracks that are bound to get you moving. Unlike their first album, the second album is more of a dance/electro groove to it instead of the bands for hip hop roots from their previous album Business up Front, Party in the Back. Recently, the band played at the warped tour this past summer and I made sure to check them out and I was far from disappointed. As you know, I am a fan of lyrical content and Family Force 5 has some interesting lyrics never the less. Their hit track include “Dance or Die” but I would not be surprised to see “Get your back off the wall”, “Fever” and “D-I-E-4-Y-O-U” will soon become crowd favorites. I cannot stop listening to them on my Ipod and it’s addicting. If you are looking for a good band to get moving to and just to smile to overall check out Family Force 5.
